Wyndham Lake

Wyndham lake is approx. 6 acres. It is a lake of 2 halves, 14 swims in total. The two main areas of water are separated by a channel spanned by a footbridge affording access to 7 of the swims.  A barrow is needed to access most of the swims. The lake contains a substantial head of carp which go to 28lb, there are approximately 24 x 20’s and a large population of upper doubles. There are some stunning mirror carp in the lake and a scroll back through the Alderfen Facebook page or a look at our gallery will give you a good idea of what you are fishing for.

As with all our lakes, it is not just home to carp but lots of wildlife too. There are nesting swans and kingfishers on Wyndham along with birds of prey that call the Alderfen complex home too, many of our members are keen photographers or just love nature so please respect them whilst going about your angling.
